Responsibilities
- Lead and further mature the network LCM and resiliency programs.
- Support key networking platforms such as WAN, DIA, load balancing, switching and routing platforms.
- Collaborate with peer network teams and leaders to foster alignment.
- Play a critical role in developing the next generation of networking for the business.
- Promote efficiency through network configuration standards, automation, and supporting documentation.
- Manage a team of roughly 10 engineers at varying career levels.
- Provide Tier 2 and 3 support escalation to NOC on major incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of network infrastructure operations and engineering experience with 5+ years of experience managing a network engineering team.
- Extensive experience managing lifecycle and network resiliency projects.
- Experience in managing, implementing and supporting a large-scale network modernization effort with a background in software-defined network infrastructure.
- Practical expertise in network design and troubleshooting, routing ,and high availability/Active-Active configurations.
- Expertise in Cisco vxlan or ACI switching and routing technology and Cisco SDWAN.
- Knowledge and expertise in applying best practice network security principles.
- Experience in audit, risk management, and regulatory compliance (PCI and HIPAA) as it relates to network infrastructure.
Prior experience in technical network engineering/architectural role is highly beneficial.
