The Manager HRIS will provide leadership, strategic input and analysis of the health system's human resources information system. This includes oversight of system security, reporting and integrations. The Manager, HRIS will collaborate with stakeholders across all functions (HR, Finance, IT) to maintain and develop processes that will create a best in class HR operations platform and an excellent employee experience.


  • Responsible for the HRIS platform and application for Process, Configuration, Data Architecture, Security and Compliance for the entire suit of HCM modules such as Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, Time Keeping, Scheduling, Absence Management, Payroll and Service Center etc.
  • Responsible for the deployment of the new HRIS application Workday by participating and contributing in all the phases of the project such as Architect, Configure & Prototype, Testing and deployment.
  • Lead a high performing team of system analysts including hiring, developing, coaching, training, and allocating resources while fostering a customer centric mindset
  • Provide leadership and recommendations in the design, development and automation of HRIS to maximize productivity, efficiency, and support organizational objectives.
  • Function as project test lead for Workday implementation and updates, facilitating test plan development and execution, triaging and prioritizing defects, escalating issues that affect the testing progress or quality, and reporting overall status and risks to leadership.
  • Maintain and ensure the ongoing operational excellence of the HR systems and promote continuous process improvement practices which drive automation, efficiency and exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee HR systems security and security controls to ensure appropriate access to functionality for users and monitor appropriate data security
  • Collaborate with the Technical teams including IT to build, test and deploy the integrations, reports, workflows, dashboards and Security.
  • Responsible to maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements with HR and Payroll.
  • Engage with the Workday community to remain informed of system enhancements, foundational operation and execution of data management processes.  


  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5+ years of HRIS leadership experience
  • Experience overseeing security and integrations for Workday required
  • Broad functional and technical knowledge of HR, Payroll and Finance processes and systems
  • Advanced analytical skills; ability to lead, develop, conduct, test and document the operation of the HR systems
  • Strong leadership skills in coaching, motivating and developing highly skilled talent
  • Exceptional presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills, possessing the ability to motivate team members to perform the tasks
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex HR operations to maintain the credibility of HR systems
  • Strong bias for action with a demonstrated track record of owning and delivering solutions successfully
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to engage effectively at all levels for effecting timely progress
  • Innovative problem solver with excellent critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter, able to drive work forward within an agile environment
  • Track record of holding self and others accountable to meet deadlines and achieve business goals
  • Experience working in healthcare is desirable
  • Kronos experience a plus
